Farid Mammadov appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Kapital Bank

Kapital Bank, recognized for its successful corporate governance strategy, announces the appointment of Farid Mammadov as the new Chairman of its Supervisory Board. The decision was made at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and is effective from March 17, 2025.
Mr. Mammadov, currently a member of the Supervisory Board at Kapital Bank and CEO of Bir Ecosystem, brings extensive financial sector experience to the role. He previously served as First Deputy Chairman of Kapital Bank’s Management Board, a member of the Supervisory Board at PASHA Investments LLC, Chairman of the Board of Directors at PASHA Insurance and PASHA Life Insurance, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at PASHA Bank Georgia, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board at PASHA Bank Turkey, a Supervisory Board Member of PASHA Bank Azerbaijan, and Head of the Risk Department at PASHA Holding.
Mr. Mammadov earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Azerbaijan and completed his MBA at IE Business School in Spain. He also holds the prestigious CFA qualification.
