“Kapital Bank Room” opened at Azerbaijan Technological University
The Azerbaijan’s first bank, Kapital Bank, remains deeply committed to fostering educational initiatives and is thrilled to announce its extended collaboration with Azerbaijan Technological University. As a testament to this partnership, the Faculty of Economics proudly welcomed the opening of the “Kapital Bank Room”. The opening ceremony was attended by Kapital Bank representatives, officials and students of Azerbaijan Technological University.
In her speech at the event, Azadа Hajiyeva, Deputy Director of Kapital Bank’s Talent Management Department, highlighted, “We have already established classrooms in several universities across Baku. Today marks a significant milestone as, for the first time in the region, students at Azerbaijan Technological University in Ganja gain access to “Kapital Bank Room”, equipped with the latest technology. We firmly believe that in our rapidly evolving digital world, students need to engage in innovative learning to shape their expertise. The purpose behind setting up this classroom is to cultivate an effective and enriching learning environment for students.”
In his address, Mahammad Ibrahimov, Head of the Retail Sales Department at Kapital Bank, expressed his gratitude for the collaboration aimed at supporting education. He emphasized, “We sings agreements and memorandums of understanding in the realm of education, actively partnering with universities. We initiate scholarship programs and provide the most conducive environment for students to gain practical experience within our bank. It is noteworthy that Kapital Bank stands as one of the largest employers in the sector, boasting a workforce of over 5 000 professionals. Deputy Rector of Azerbaijan Technological University, Yashar Omarov, extended his appreciation to Kapital Bank’s management for their initiative and support. “In this age of the 4th Industrial Revolution, contemporary education driven by innovative solutions translates into professional training for the job market. The introduction of the “Kapital Bank Room” presents us with outstanding opportunities to achieve that,” remarked Yashar Omarov.
Following the formal proceedings, attendees had the opportunity to explore the room designed for 28 people. The students were particularly impressed by the setup, featuring a smart board, laptops, essential office equipment and study supplies. Representatives from both the university and the bank engaged in discussions about upcoming collaborative projects and potential areas of cooperation.
