Kapital Bank offers farmers concessional loans

Loans from 1 000 to 200 000 manats will be provided to farmers with a maximum interest rate of 7% per annum.

Kapital Bank has signed an agreement with the State Service on Management of Agricultural Projects and Credits under the Ministry of Agriculture. According to the terms of the protocol, farmers will be granted concessional loans.

Chief Corporate Sales Officer of Kapital Bank Farid Hidayatzadeh, head of the State Service on Management of Agricultural Projects and Credits under the Ministry of Agriculture Mirza Aliyev, as well as representatives of the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Chamber of Supervision for Financial Markets, the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs Organizations of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan Pomegranate Producers and Exporters Association were present at the signing ceremony.

This project, implemented jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture, will have a positive impact on the development of entrepreneurship. Loans from 1 000 to 200 000 manats will be provided to farmers with a maximum interest rate of 7% per annum. Moreover, participation of international organizations in the project will ensure the provision of loans and will make it possible to benefit from foreign experience during the monitoring,” — said Farid Hidayatzadeh, Chief Corporate Sales Officer of Kapital Bank.
