Kapital Bank has introduced “Mobile e-Signature” project

As part of this project, Kapital Bank customers will be able to obtain “Mobile e-Signature” certificates.

Kapital Bank, for the first time in Azerbaijan, has introduced the “Mobile e-Signature” project. On May 7, 2018 the presentation of the project “Mobile e-Signature” was held jointly by Kapital Bank, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, and Information Computing Center. This project, along with a convenient system for conducting banking operations, will enable to sign documents quickly, securely and electronically.

The event, among others, was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Board, Director of Information Technologies of Kapital Bank; Nahid Zeynalov and Director of the Department of Banking Products, Igbal Rustamov; as well as by Director of Marketing Department of Information and Computing Center, Jeyhun Mammadov and Deputy Director of the National Center of Certification Services, Habib Abbasov.

“At the end of last year, the Supervisory Board of Kapital Bank approved a strategy for 2018–2020, where the development of digital banking is indicated as a priority. In this regard, we launched an updated version of our mobile application earlier this year. Until the end of this year, we will provide our customers with a digital branch operating under the new concept. The works in this direction have already been started”, — said Deputy Chairman of the Board, Director of Information Technologies, Nahid Zeynalov.

It should be noted that as part of this project, Kapital Bank customers will be able to receive “Mobile e-Signature” certificates. The authorized officer of Kapital Bank will provide clients with an electronic signature within 5 minutes. The project will play an important role in the development of mobile banking.
