Kapital Bank and Red Hearts plants trees in memory of martyrs
Kapital Bank and Red Hearts Foundation launched the “Garden of the Motherland” (“Vətən Bağı”) project in several districts of the country to perpetuate the memory of our heroes who died during the first and second Karabakh wars. As part of the project, memorial trees were planted in the districts according to the number of martyrs of each district.
The tree-planting project was first implemented in the Kurdamir and Saatli districts. 160 and 144 trees were planted in the mentioned districts, respectively. The employees of Kapital Bank, members of the Red Hearts Foundation, representatives of the district community and volunteers attended the event. The tree-planting campaign were supported by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan and local executive authorities.
The “Gardens of the Motherland” were laid out in populous places, in parks and city centers. The care of the trees, their watering and other necessary activities will be carried out by the local executive authorities, Kapital Bank and the Red Hearts Foundation. Similar activities will be held in other districts during the tree-planting season.
It should be noted that the key goal of the “Red Hearts” Foundation is to benefit our society. The main activity of the foundation, the majority of whose members are volunteer employees of Kapital Bank, is helping orphanages, shelters and people in need.
