When will the lottery take place?
From September 2 to October 31, 2024 (inclusive).
Who can participate in the lottery?
Citizens of Azerbaijan aged 18 and above who place a new deposit in our bank between September 2 and October 31 under the following conditions will be eligible to participate in the lottery:
- The amount is at least 500 AZN;
- The term is 6, 12, or 18 months;
- Interest is withdrawn at the end of the term.
How are the lottery chances calculated?
Chances are awarded based on the deposit amount on the draw dates.
- 10 chances for deposits ranging from 500 AZN to 1000 AZN;
- An additional 10 chances for each subsequent 1–1000 AZN deposit amount;
- Chances are doubled for deposits placed through Birbank app.
For example, customers who place deposits in the range of 1001–2000 AZN will receive 20 chances, and those who place deposits in the range of 2001–3000 AZN will receive 30 chances. If the same amounts are placed through Birbank app, the number of chances will be 40 and 60, respectively.
If I already have a deposit, can I increase it to participate in the lottery?
No, increasing an existing deposit does not grant participation in the lottery.
How many winners will there be and what prizes will they receive?
A total of 101 winners will be selected during the lottery period. 100 winners will receive a gift equal to double the interest earned on their deposit, up to a maximum of 2000 AZN. One winner will receive an additional 50 000 AZN on top of their deposit interest.
In which cases may a winner not receive a gift?
Gifts will be presented to the winners within 30 business days. If a winning customer closes or reduces their deposit amount within this period, they will lose the right to receive the gift.
How many times can I win the lottery?
A customer can only win once. Customers who do not win in the first draw will have the right to participate in the second draw.
How many draws will there be?
The lottery consists of 2 draws.
- The first draw will take place on October 4, 2024. This draw will include customers who placed deposits between September 2 and September 30 (inclusive).
- The second draw will take place on November 7, 2024. This draw will include customers who placed deposits between September 2 and October 31 (except for the winners of the first draw).
How will the winners be determined?
The winners will be determined by random selection through a special program prepared by the bank, broadcast live on Kapital Bank's social media pages on October 4 and November 7, 2024. Winners will be contacted by phone, or notified via SMS and the Birbank app about their prizes. Prizes will be transferred to the winner’s current account within 30 business days from the draw date.
