PIN Set (Assignment of the new PIN code)

The instruction can be used in the following conditions:

  • If you received a PIN code without a PIN envelope in the branch;
  • If you forget or lost your PIN code;

 

Assignment of the new PIN code:

  • Insert card into an ATM;
  • Click to the "PIN SET" button in the lower right heading of the ATM;
  • Click the "Assignment of the PIN code” button;
  • By selecting 4 any digit number you can set your new PIN code;
  • Retype new PIN code;
  • Your PIN code has successfully changed;

Thus, you set your PIN code.

PIN Change

This service allows you change the existing PIN code with any other code you wish at any of Kapital Bank’s ATMs. This service is available to holders of all types of Kapital Bank cards.

How to change a PIN code

  • Insert your card into an ATM;
  • Choose the language
  • Enter the existing PIN code;
  • Choose PAYMENTS option in the ATM menu;
  • Choose SERVICES option in the pop-up window;
  • Choose PIN CHANGE service in the next window;
  • Enter a new 4-digit PIN code and press ENTER;
  • Re-enter the new PIN code and press ENTER.

Thus, you will have changed your PIN code

Good to know

  • Do not use repetitive (1111) or consecutive (1234) digits as your PIN code;
  • For security reasons, do not use the same PIN code for all of your payment cards;
  • If you experience any problems with your payment card, call 196 Info Service.

Cash to card

"Cash in" service - allows you to increase your card account balance in any currency by means of ATM. This service is only available at Cash In ATMs.

Transfer rules:

  • Select the language;
  • Choose "Cash-to-Card" from the menu "Please select transaction";
  • Enter the card number of the recipient and click "Press here for continue" button;
  • Confirm the card number by clicking "Confirmation" button;
  • Then please select any currency you want - AZN, USD, EUR;
  • Insert the money into the ATM and click “DEPOSIT”. If you want to add more then click “ADD”;
  • At the end of the transaction, if you wish you can get a check or refuse;

Thus to send cash to card.

Service fees:

Commission fee for transfer is 1% for salary cards (min 1 AZN) and 0% for debet cards.

Card to Card

Terms and conditions of service

  • With the Card to Card money-transfer service, you can transfer money from one payment card to another using an ATM or Mobile Banking.
  • The service is available to holders of Kapital Bank credit cards (Visa Classic, Visa Gold, Visa Business/Business Gold, Visa Platinum, MasterCard Standard, MasterCard Gold, MasterCard Platinum) and personal debit cards (Maestro, Electron).
  • Money transferred using the Card to Card service will arrive in the recipient account immediately.

 

How to transfer money

To use the Card to Card service, insert your card into an ATM and choose the appropriate menu option (Payments > Card to Card). After selecting the menu option, enter the 16-digit number of the recipient card (twice), followed by the amount and currency to be transferred.

Cash by Code

Terms and conditions of service

Cash by Code service allows customers to send money through an ATM to a person who does not hold a credit card.

This service is available to holders of all Kapital Bank cards. (excluding pension and social cards) You can use the Cash by Code service to send money to any individual.

How to transfer money

  • Insert your card into ATM. Choose a language.
  • Enter your PIN.
  • Choose the Payment option from the ATM menu.
  • Choose Cash by Code and confirm the service fee.
  • Enter the recipient’s phone number and the amount to be transferred.

The system will generate a two-part code. The first part (Code 1) will be sent to the recipient’s mobile phone number as a text message, while the second part (Code 2) will be printed on the transaction receipt. You must pass the second part of the code to the receiver. The receiver will have to enter both parts of the code to be able to receive the money. The code will remain active for 24 hours.

To receive money using the Cash by Code service, you must find a Kapital Bank ATM, press the button in the top right-hand corner and choose the Cash by Code option from the displayed menu. Enter both parts of the code into the pop-up window. To verify the transaction, you will also need to enter the amount you expect to receive through the transaction in the appropriate menu window. The ATM will disburse the appropriate amount if both elements (code and amount) are correct.

A service fee of 1% (at least 1 AZN) is charged to the sender’s account.

If you are tired of queuing in front of an ATM and prefer comfort and convenience, you can connect to Kapital Bank’s SMS Info service.

You can connect to SMS Info service by using a Kapital Bank ATM or by calling 196 Info Service. To connect to SMS Info service:

  • Insert your card into Kapital Bank’s ATM;
  • Choose language;
  • Enter the PIN code;
  • Choose SMS SERVICES section from the ATM menu;
  • Choose SMS Info service from the ATM menu;
  • Choose ACTIVATE from SMS Info menu;
  • Enter your mobile phone number and press CONTINUE;
  • Choose the language of SMS to be sent to your phone number;
  • Confirm your intention to active SMS Banking service.

SMS Banking – is a set of services provided by Kapital Bank through mobile operators Azercell, Bakcell, Nar mobile, Azerfon Vodafone, to bank customers – cardholders of all types of plastic cards of Kapital Bank.

How to connect to SMS Banking service?

 

By ATMs of Kapital Bank:

  • Insert your card into an ATM machine of Kapital Bank;
  • Choose service language;
  • Enter a PIN code of your card;
  • From the menu of ATM machine choose operation «SMS Banking»;
  • In the menu of «SMS Banking» choose button «Activate»;
  • Type a mobile phone number for connection to SMS Banking service and choose button «Continue»;
  • Choose the language of receiving SMS messages;
  • Confirm your choice for activation of SMS Banking service;
  • As a confirmation of YOUR connection to SMS Banking service, the check will be printed and an SMS message will be sent to your mobile phone.

 

By calling 196 Info Center:

  • Call at any time convenient for you;
  • Give the operator 16-digit number of your plastic card;
  • Give your PIN code;
  • Give a mobile phone number which you want to connect to SMS Banking service;
  • As a confirmation of Your connection to SMS Banking service, an SMS message will be sent to your mobile phone.

 

How to modify a language of SMS messages?

  • Insert your card into an ATM machine of Kapital Bank;
  • Choose service language;
  • Enter a PIN code of your card;
  • From the menu of ATM machine choose operation «SMS Banking»;
  • In the menu of «SMS Banking» choose button «Modify»;
  • Confirm your choice for language modification of SMS messages;
  • As a confirmation of language modification SMS messages, the check will be printed.

 

How to unsubscribe from SMS Banking service?

  • Insert your card into an ATM machine of Kapital Bank;
  • Choose service language;
  • Enter a PIN code of your card;
  • From the menu of ATM machine choose operation «SMS Banking»;
  • In the menu of «SMS Banking» choose button «Reject»;
  • Type a mobile phone number which you want to disconnect from SMS Banking service;
  • Confirm your choice for disconnection of SMS Banking service;
  • As a confirmation of disconnection of SMS Banking service, the check will be printed.

 

SMS languages are set in three languages: Azerbaijan, Russian and English
